Dr Ezequiel "Ziggy" MARZINELLI
Visiting Scientist/Lecturer
The University of Sydney, Australia

I am a quantitative ecologist with a strong background in experimental design and data analysis. I integrate ecological theory and experiments with cutting-edge molecular analyses to understand the mechanisms that cause species’ declines and to restore degraded habitats. One of my research goals is to understand how ecological processes and environmental changes influence interactions between microbes and their hosts, particularly habitat-forming species, and how disruptions to these interactions affect associated biodiversity. I regularly teach courses on experimental design and statistics.
