Dr LAW Yingyu
Research Fellow

Yingyu obtained her PhD from the Advanced Water Management Centre at the University of Queensland in 2013. Her expertise is in N transformation, in particular biological nitrous oxide production and emission. She worked closely with water utilities to carry out diagnosis on greenhouse gas emissions from full-scale used water systems for accurate carbon accounting. She also participated in the development of mathematical models for prediction of emission under changing process condition. At SCELSE, Yingyu has currently embarked on a project funded by the Environmental & Water Industry, working to understand enhanced biological phosphorus removal in tropical settings. This project is in close collaboration with the Public Utility Board (PUB) and Visiting Professor Per H. Nielsen.
