Dr James HOUGHTON

Dr Houghton's research interest is investigating the ecology of atmospheric microorganisms. Previously, he was employed as a postdoctoral research assistant at the University of Liverpool, UK after completing his PhD there in 2013. James' research background comprises use of techniques such as metagenomic and metatranscriptomic sequencing and qPCR to investigate the structure and function of communities of microorganisms.
