A/Prof. Hsu Li Yang is the Programme Leader in the Antimicrobial Resistance Programme, Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health at NUS, Adjunct Associate Professor at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Senior Consultant and Head, Department of Infectious Diseases, Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Deputy Clinical Director, Communicable Diseases Centre, Ministry of Health. His research focuses on the genomics and epidemiology of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, and more broadly on the epidemiology, mechanisms, and intervention of bacterial antibiotic resistance.
