Dr Sam Spence is a research fellow in Prof. Stephan Schuster’s Meta-‘omics & Microbiomes cluster. In SCELSE, she will be working on metagenomics and microbial ecology in air microbiome lab. She recently completed her PhD on bacterial species identification at the Asian School of the Environment, NTU, under the supervision of Prof. Hie Lim Kim. Sam’s bachelor’s and master’s degrees were studied at the University of Bath, UK.
