Cassie Heinle is a research fellow at SCELSE working under the guidance of Prof. Stephan Schuster as part of the Meta-o’mics & Microbiomes cluster Air Microbiome Project. Her areas of experience include data management, where she aids in the archival and retrieval of sample collection metadata and project data. She earned an MA in plant sciences at the University of Arizona, USA, where she studied the sequenced genome of the cassava plant Manihot esculenta and worked for ChromDB as part of the annotation team for chromatin genes in the database. At SCELSE, Cassie works in the SCELSE-High Performance Computing support team.
