Cheryl is a Junior Research Scientist at the L’Oréal-SCELSE Joint Lab, where her work focuses on upstream research on the skin and scalp microbiome. She graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2023 with a degree in Biological Sciences and subsequently gained industry experience as a Graduate Trainee at L’Oréal. She transitioned into her current role at the Joint Lab in late 2024. She is pursuing a PhD under the mentorship of Prof Cynthia Whitchurch.
