Yujin is a first-year PhD student in the Meta-‘omics & Microbiomes cluster at SCELSE, under the supervision of A/Prof Kim Hie Lim. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Bioscience and Psychology at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), where she developed a strong interest in the gut–brain axis. Her research interests focus on understanding the connections between the gut microbiome and brain function, and how changes in gut health may influence mental health.
