Research Fellow

Dr Acerbi's main research area involves models and algorithms for data mining and machine learning. After completing a master’s degree in computer science, he started working in the natural language processing field as text mining analyst. Following his innate interests for biological sciences, he then earned a PhD in translational and molecular medicine, mainly working on probabilistic models for gene network inference. Enzo believes that data mining and predictive models will play a key role in deciphering functions and behaviours of microbial communities.
