Congratulations to SCELSE’s senior research fellow, Dr Cheng Dan for winning one of the Best Poster Awards at SIWW 2024! 🏆🎉

Led by SCELSE PI & deputy centre director Prof Stefan Wuertz, her poster showcased the project “Effect of Monochloramine on Microbial Communities in Bulk Water under Continuous and Intermittent Supply Conditions in a Pilot-Scale System”, highlighting the impact of water supply methods – continuous versus intermittent- on microbial quality, crucial for ensuring safe drinking water amid rising water scarcity.

She said: “I am very honoured to have received this award at SIWW. SCELSE has been a great learning hub and creates opportunity to collaborate with international researchers and actively share our findings. Together, we can tackle global warming with R&D and practical solutions.”
