Ms Debbie has joined SCELSE as a research assistant under the supervision of A/Prof Federico Lauro in the Environmental Engineering cluster. In SCELSE, Debbie will be responsible for the investigation of microbiologically influenced corrosion mechanisms. She received her master’s degree (forensic science) from King’s College, London. Prior to joining SCELSE, Debbie has been working in a charitable healthcare non-profit organisation over the last four years. She has had many opportunities to interact with the community and provide better access to focused healthcare and support. She aims to return to R&D to face new challenges and gain stronger skills to make a positive impact to the world.
