Dr Marcus Lee is in SCELSE’s Biofilms & Health cluster, as a research fellow with the L’Oréal-SCELSE joint research laboratory, reporting to Dr Vidu Regina. Dr Lee has an interest in skin biology research and currently conducts investigations into host-microbial interactions of the microbiome. His doctoral work focused on tissue engineering of the human pigmented skin tissue equivalents and their potential applications in pre-clinical platforms at the National University Centre for Oral Health, Singapore. Prior to joining SCELSE, he worked in grants administration and managed external grants from various healthcare clusters.
