Dr Jiao Lijing joins SCELSE as a Research Fellow under Assoc Prof Janelle Thompson, where she focuses on astrobiology and the microbial ecology of Sembawang Hot Spring. She previously completed her PhD at the Asian School of the Environment, NTU, also under the supervision of Assoc Prof Thompson. Her research interests include microbial ecology, biofilm formation, environmental microbiology, and microbial life in extreme environments.
