Krithika Arumugam

Krithika Arumugam is a Bioinformatician in the Integrative Analysis Unit headed by Dr. Rohan Williams. With a background in Computer Science and Engineering, and Bioinformatics, Krithika is interested in approaching challenges in computational biology using her interdisciplinary training. She has worked with sequencing data from different generations of sequencing technologies including data from Sanger, SOLiD, 454, Illumina, Oxford Nanopore Technology and Pacific Biosciences. Her research interests are microbiome analysis, metagenomics, genome and metagenome assemblies, binning, genome resolved metagenomic analysis techniques (using short read and long read data), high-throughput computing and high-performance computing.
