Lee Hsin Yee, a passionate explorer of the microscopic world, works as a Research Assistant under Asst Prof Laura Nolan with effect from 27 November 2024. Hsin Yee will deep dive into the fascinating realm of biofilm development and community interactions in food spoilage microorganisms using in-vitro biofilm models.
Armed with a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences from NTU, Hsin Yee discovered her love for microbiology during her undergraduate journey, exploring various research fields through lab attachments. Her SCELSE story began as a summer student in her first year and later a final-year project student in Prof Kimberly Kline’s lab, where her curiosity for biofilms truly took root.
