Khee Leong is a Senior Research Engineer II at SCELSE with over 31 years of experience in hardware electronic design, software development, and test automation. His expertise spans FPGA, digital, precision low-noise analog, RF systems, embedded microcontrollers and Linux-based platforms, particularly Raspberry Pi systems. He has strong capabilities in developing platforms for semiconductor IC validation, precision instrumentation, and imaging-related applications.
His software experience includes Python, MATLAB, and embedded C/C++, focusing on hardware–software integration, real-time data acquisition, instrument control, and imaging system development, with growing applications of AI and machine learning for image analysis and system optimization.
Under the guidance of Prof Peter Török, Khee Leong will focus on the design, electronic control, and software development of custom microscope and optical systems, driving innovation in integrated hardware-software solutions.
