Siti Aisyah Bte Afri Affandi joined SCELSE as a Research Assistant under Prof Janelle Thompson in the Environmental Engineering cluster. She did her Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences in the University of Nottingham and started her career as a Medical Technologist. She contributed as a front liner during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019-2021 and worked in a clinical lab in Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital. She has also contributed during the pandemic in SCELSE, in her works in wastewater surveillance for SARS-CoV2.
