Rohan Williams is a computational biologist with expertise and interests in in microbiome bioinformatics, multi-omics analysis of complex microbial communities and the statistical analysis of large biological datasets. He is head of the SCELSE Integrative Analysis Unit, a principal research fellow at the National University of Singapore and a principal investigator at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART). The recent work of his group has been focused on the genome-resolved analysis of complex microbial communities, developing new applications long read metagenomics and developing new analysis strategies for dissecting the genomic architecture of phenotypic traits in microbial ecology.
