Dr Tan Ai Zhu, Casandra is a research fellow in the Biofilms & Health cluster, under the supervision of Prof Alain Filloux. In SCELSE, she focuses on the type VI secretion system of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Prior to joining SCELSE as a staff member, she did her PhD with Prof Kimberly Kline in SCELSE, investigating how the wound microenvironment impacts Enterococcus faecalis wound pathogenesis.
