Dr Ng Wei Jie is a SCELSE research fellow under the supervision of A/Prof. Janelle Thompson in the Environmental Engineering cluster, working on the campus wastewater surveillance programme. Wei Jie specialises in functional ecology, microbiology, the development of pathogen detection assays, and genomics analysis. He was awarded a PhD in the field of environmental engineering at the National University of Singapore.
