Dr Goh Yu Fen is a research fellow under the supervision of Prof. Alain Filloux in the Biofilms & Health cluster. In SCELSE, she focuses on elucidating the link between cyclic di-GMP, a universal secondary messenger, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilm development and pathogenesis. Dr Goh Yu Fen received her PhD in sustainable earth in SCELSE, studying a three bacterial species biofilm model with a focus on how Pseduomonas protegens affects the bacterial community and biofilm formation.
