Nicholas Mok

Research Engineer
Imaging Facility, Biofilm Biology cluster, SCELSE

Mr Nicholas Mok is a research engineer, under Prof Peter Török in the Biofilm Biology cluster. Prior to joining SCELSE, he was in the precision manufacturing sector, servicing mainly aerospace and optics industries. He completed his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in May 2021. He has a deep interest in materials sciences and metallurgy, and for his undergraduate research paper, he focused on the Influence of Porosities on High Pressure Die Cast Light Alloy Machining Processes. At SCELSE, Nicolas design and produce prototypes, which requires a deep knowledge of machining processes and their interactions with various materials.
